These are wonderful for everyday use. I bought a set for my in-laws; they’re extremely pleased and use the plates almost everyday!
One thing I must say though… One of the plates was broken in the box when it arrived. I was going to notify Amazon, but it turned out that the set was complete. Somehow there was an extra plate in the box!

Corelle Bamboo Leaf Square Round 16-Piece Dinnerware Set, Service for 4 Review
I got two sets of the Corelle in the bamboo square pattern and I absolutely love them. They are light yet sturdy. I can microwave and bake them and food washes off them very easily. Best of all I don’t have to worry about them chipping. I had to toss my old porcelain set because I had chipped them over the years that I only had 3 bowls, 5 salad plates and 9 dinner plates left when I originally started with 10 of each. The bamboo design is quite nice. I was a bit worried that the design would look like cheap decals but the quality of the artwork is decent. Highly recommend for every day use.

I have been wanting a set of Corelle dishes for years. These are wonderful. Size of all pieces, perfect. Take up much less space in my shelf than my old stoneware set. I don’t have a problem with the coffee mugs. The Corelle material cups others are referring to are TEA cups, not coffee mugs which are bigger! So very easy to wash. Nothing ever sticks! And no more chipping! Young’uns, if you are just getting started, and want a great set of dishes, I very highly recommend these. Just be sure to pick a color you like…Cause they will be there for a long time!
